Suzanne Rutkowski
Suzanne is a dynamic nonprofit leader and visionary entrepreneur with a passion for workforce development and community transformation. As the Executive Director of Team Up Academy, a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Warren, Michigan, I lead innovative 30-day bootcamp and 60-90 day machining programs that equip job seekers, veterans, returning citizens, and underserved individuals with in-demand manufacturing, soft skills, and workplace readiness training—driving successful job placement and long-term career success.
Kevin Letwin
Kevin Letwin brings over 28 years of hands-on experience in machining, warehousing, and logistics across military, manufacturing, and industrial facility operations.
He began his career serving four years in the U.S. Marine Corps in Security Forces and Infantry. He then transitioned to the private sector, working at General Motors’ Truck Plant as a third-party supervisor for booth and housekeeping cleaners for five years. He advanced to become Facility Manager at Ford Motor Company’s Research & Engineering Center, managing housekeeping operations across 35 buildings and the Test Track facilities.
Kevin later oversaw operations at Ford’s Parts Depots in Detroit, Livonia, and Inkster, before being promoted to Facility Site Manager at the Ford Wayne Assembly Plant, responsible for housekeeping across five major buildings.
William Herod
William Herod brings over 20 years of experience in maintenance across military, manufacturing, and industrial facilities.
He spent eight years in the U.S. military serving as an infantryman and Apache helicopter mechanic, gaining valuable technical and mechanical skills in high-pressure environments. After completing his military service, William transitioned into the manufacturing sector, where he has held multiple maintenance roles.
His responsibilities have included mold changes, wall changes, and equipment maintenance involving machinery ranging from 1-ton to 8-ton capacity. He is highly skilled in the use of tools, forklifts, cranes, and other industrial equipment.
William’s broad experience, technical proficiency, and adaptability make him exceptionally qualified to train others in maintenance operations across a variety of settings.
